Kids and COVID Vaccine Update

Last week, Pfizer completed its submission for a request for Emergency Use Authorization for the COVID vaccine for children 5-11. The FDA has said the review and authorization process could be a matter of weeks rather than months. The news is full of mentions of an October 26 FDA meeting, but it’s important to recognize that there are additional steps that will take place before a final recommendation.
