The latest coronavirus/COVID-19 situation at Oregon Medical Group

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911

Oregon Medical Group (OMG) is committed to helping you live your healthiest life. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we are currently facing, OMG is temporarily changing its care delivery model. Our goal is to ensure you are informed with the most up-to-date information available. As guidelines surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) are developing and evolving rapidly, we continue to work alongside the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC), the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), and the Lane County Health Department to provide the highest quality of care in an environment of absolute safety.

To ensure that those who are sick receive the care they need, to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, and to maintain human and material resources, OMG is following five principles as we care for our patients during this time:

  • We want to keep healthy people out of our clinics and at home. At this time we are not scheduling routine or non-urgent visits.
  • We want to keep mildly sick people who do not need immediate care out of our clinics and at home. We are not recommending an in-office visit unless you feel you need to be seen. Our care team will be providing more over-the-phone care than ever before.
  • We will identify those who are sick and need immediate care and get them to the right place, whether it is one of our clinics or the ER.
  • We will identify at-risk patients and provide care and support that prevents worsening of chronic conditions.
  • We will continue to provide support, guidance and compassion for our patients and our coworkers.

Given these ever-changing circumstances, we anticipate regularly updating information on our website to ensure messaging is timely. This page is expected to change as new information is available. Please check back often for the most recent guidelines and up-to-date information.

We appreciate that you trust us with the care of you and your family, and you can count on us to keep your health at the top of our priority list. Please remember to wash your hands, get good sleep and eat wisely.
