Oregon Medical Group’s Internal Medicine physicians care for thousands of people in Eugene and Springfield-area, tending to preventative health care, illness and injury, and chronic health issues. Patients sometimes find the term “Internal Medicine” confusing because it would seem that all medical attention is internal, but Internal Medicine is just a term for a Primary Care Physician or Family Practitioner who cares only for adults. Their equivalent, a Pediatrician, cares for those who are under the age of 16. (Though the ‘cut-off’ for this separation varies by patient and physician.)
OMG’s Internal Medicine providers analyze symptoms, identify causes and work toward stable health. Our primary goal is to work with adults on preventive and chronic health issues as they mature. We can't stop the aging process, but we hope to make the journey better.
