For the comfort and convenience of Oregon Medical Group patients and to ensure full coordination with their referring providers, we provide an Infusion Services Center. This group of specialists provide compassionate, expert care from our Gateway Medical Clinic in Springfield. Treatments for some conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Crohn’s disease, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, psoriasis, gout, ulcerative colitis and some anemia can call for intravenous (IV) therapy and medical infusions.

Patients are continuously monitored by an experienced RN and a physician is available on site at all times. Our registered nurses are specially trained to administer IV medications. As part of their training, they are educated about the latest therapies available for various diseases. Our nurses educate patients and families on the medications the patient receives, the disease the patient is being treated for, possible side effects and reactions, and how to administer self-injections for subcutaneous medications.
