Kathleen Burns, PT, DPT
Kat earned bachelor's and doctorate degrees from Ithaca College. She is an orthopedic certified specialist, a certified manual physical therapist, and a certified breathing behavioral analyst. She is currently in the North American Institute of Manual Physical Therapy (NAIOMT) fellowship program and works as a certified mentor. Her medical areas of interest include treating scoliosis and using biofeedback for breathing dysfunction.
When not seeing patients at Southtowne Kat enjoys any outdoor activity. She is a graduate of Outward Bound and the National Outdoor Leadership School, and also has experience with horseback riding, especially hunter/jumper and dressage. She is a certified yoga instructor and primarily does vinyasa flow.
