David Bear, MD
Dr. Bear earned a medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. He completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Bear specializes in surgery from the shoulder to the fingertip, including conditions such as trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, ganglion cysts, tennis elbow, shoulder pain and thumb arthritis. His medical areas of interest include treatment of complex fractures of the upper extremity, shoulder replacement surgery, rotator cuff repair, tendon and nerve reconstruction and treatment of congenital hand differences.
In his personal time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and especially spending time with his family. He also makes an effort to volunteer his surgical skills and has gone on surgical missions to Haiti and Honduras.
