Steven Douthett, DPM, AACFAS
Podiary, Foot and Ankle Surgery
Dr. Douthett earned a medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. He completed residency training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Beaumont Health in Wayne, Mich., and fellowship training at the Florida Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center in Sarasota, Fla. He is an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Having undergone several foot and ankle surgeries as a child, Dr. Douthett understands first-hand what patients go through when they see a foot and ankle surgeon, and is an advocate for patient education as part of his care plan. His areas of interest include ankle replacement, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, deformity correction, arthroscopic surgery, flatfoot repair, bunion correction, Charcot reconstruction, lateral ankle instability, and tendon repair/transfer. He’s one of only a handful of podiatric surgeons to complete a one year fellowship in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction recognized by the American College of Foot and Ankle surgeons.
Dr. Douthett is a native of Michigan and is excited to explore the Pacific Northwest outdoors with his wife and bulldog Zeke. When he’s not seeing patient at OMG at Country Club Road, he can be found outdoors enjoying a good hike, mountain biking, snowboarding and traveling.
