After earning her medical degree, Dr. Bedward completed her residency at the University of Kansas Family Medicine program, widely recognized as a national leader in Family and Geriatric Medicine education. With training in all aspects of Family Medicine, Dr. Bedward is committed to delivering comprehensive care to her patients, with a particular passion for geriatrics and supporting older adults as they navigate the challenges of aging.

Dr. Bedward takes a patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing the importance of listening closely to each individual. A strong advocate for clear communication, she follows the advice of a trusted mentor: “If you listen to your patients, they will tell you what is wrong with them.”

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bedward enjoys spending time with family, reading, and renovating houses.
