Dr. Urben earned a medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed an internship and residency training in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Urben is board certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery and her areas of interest include endoscopic sinus surgery, including balloon sinuplasty, and surgery for hearing loss including osseointegrated implants.

In her personal time, Dr. Urben enjoys spending time with family, traveling, walking her dogs, and gardening/berry picking.
