Dr. Parkhurst earned a medical degree from Upstate Medical University. He completed a preliminary medicine internship at Bassett Hospital and residency training in radiology at the Upstate Medical University. Dr. Parkhurst completed a fellowship in neuroradiology imaging at Upstate Medical University. He is board-certified in radiology and his medical areas of interest include neuroradiology.

During his personal time, Dr. Parkhurst enjoys landscaping and spending time with his family.
