Tuesday, March 17: Today is the first day that Oregon Medical Group is not providing walk-in care. By no means does this mean that we are not providing patient care. In fact:
-We are experiencing very high call volumes. Please be patient with us. We are working hard to balance the need to provide complete and thorough care for each patient with the knowledge that you are waiting for assistance. We promise we’ll get to your call; it just may require some waiting.
-Our Willamette NOW Immediate Care clinic operations are suspended for as long as this unique situation persists. Providers and other members of the care team are working in our Triage Center, providing guidance via the phone, or if a situation requires a visit, making arrangements for that.
-If a patient is directed to a clinic for an in-person visit, only one person may accompany that patient. This is a firm requirement for the good of our community and our care team. Others will be asked to wait outside or in a vehicle. Thank you for your understanding.
-Please continue to abide by social distancing guidelines by staying at least six feet away from those near your and maintain good hand hygiene practices by washing your hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds. Learn more on how to protect yourself with these guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Please keep in mind that this situation is extremely fluid, and things may change quickly.
