Care During COVID-19? Yes!
Oregon Medical Group has implemented aggressive measures to keep patients and staff safe from COVID-19. Besides the obvious public health reasons, we took these steps in order to ensure that we can continue to keep patients on track for vaccines and other critical health care. If you or your child are due for a vaccine or have another important care questions, please call your OMG clinic.
We are prepared to care for you safely. Our actions have been extensive and are posted to our website. Some of the most important are:
Any patients who show symptoms of COVID-19 are being seen at our Respiratory Clinic, which is set up at Crescent Medical Clinic.
All clinicians have adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks and gloves. This is for your safety and theirs.
Anyone who enters our clinics is being screened for fever and symptoms of COVID-19 before being allowed to come inside. This includes all staff and patients.
No patient is permitted to enter a clinic without an appointment. This allows us to pre-screen for COVID-19 symptoms.
While vaccines require an in-person visit, you may be eligible for a telehealth visit instead of a physical visit for annual well visits, regular follow-up care, acute conditions and more.
The CDC recommends that your vaccines stay up to date. We are reaching out to patients who are or will be behind in their vaccine schedules to bring them in to the clinic in the safest way possible.
Your immediate and long-term health are important to us and you can count on us to care for both.
