Which Vaccines Do You Need?
August is National Immunization Awareness Month. Typically, we focus on childhood vaccines, but immunizations are for all ages. For example, if you’re over 50, the Shingles vaccine is one we recommend. For travelers, we’ll be promoting the hepatitis vaccine. And for everyone, the T-DAP vaccine will protect from tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis – all of which are serious but preventable through immunization.
Many people have a hard time tracking vaccination status. If you are using our MyChart app, you’ll love how easy it is to see what you had, when. But for help finding out what might be coming up, here are a few links to easy-to-read tools on the CDC website.

If you are due for immunizations, check on your well check status: most insurance cover immunizations as part of that visit. If you’re unsure, call your clinic for help!
